TIARE LUM
MASSAGE THERAPIST | SOUND HEALER
Tiare is a Native Hawaiian Healer, born in Encino, California, and raised on the island of Oahu. She has experience working in fitness centers and spas in Northern Michigan and Las Vegas, Nevada, where she resided from 1999 to 2012. In 2012, she felt the call to return home to Hawaii, where she worked in a physical therapy clinic and decided to pursue massage therapy. She graduated from Elite Massage Academy in Honolulu in 2016.
She specializes in Lomilomi, Deep Tissue, and Sports Massage, and has experience in Swedish, Prenatal, Shiatsu, Cupping, Hot Stone Therapy, Trigger Point, and Reflexology Massage. As a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, she continuously expands her knowledge by attending Clinical Orthopedic Manual Therapy Workshops and massage conventions and retreats. She enjoys hands-on work and loves helping people manage pain and tension to live a healthy, vibrant life. Each massage session is tailored to meet her client's specific needs and pressure preferences.
In addition to her massage expertise, she is also a Certified Sound Healing and Vibrational Therapy Practitioner. She uses tuning forks, crystal and Himalayan bowls, chimes, bells, and drums to deliver sound therapy, which employs specifically tuned sound frequencies to clear stress, blockages, and emotional or energetic stagnation from the subtle energy system.
In her free time, she loves spending time in the ocean or mountains. Nature, especially on the Big Island, reminds her to slow down, breathe, and appreciate life's blessings. She is also studying herbs and plant medicine (La'au Lapa'au) to create teas, tinctures, and essential oils for overall health and well-being.
